About Shanayia Munoz

I graduated from Portland State with a Bachelors in Environmental Science and Minor in Sustainability. I currently work at BSI as an Associate Consultant on our Sustainability practice where I get to use my environmental and sustainability knowledge to implement, maintain, and improve client sustainability programs while fostering and maintaining client relationships. My projects include greenhouse gas accounting, annual reporting to CDP & EcoVadis, ESG Report development, climate risk analysis & adaptation, materiality assessments, and much more. I was honored as a student leader while at PSU and interned with the Institute for Sustainable Solutions. I was a sustainability leadership fellow and part of a task force that drove innovative sustainable initiatives on campus. I coordinated events to educate peers and the public on current environmental issues and helped ban the plastic grocery bag in Oregon stores. I have over 10 years of sales/business development experience with a strong emphasis on relationship building and interpersonal communication.
