Director of Community development and Women\'s Studies Programmes in Lifelong Learning. Currently managing an HE Cert and Foundation Degree in Community Development, Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma/MA in Community Development. Developing an MRes in Community and Education. Also director of the Women\'s Studies Dip/MA and am developing a Lifelong Learning and HE Cert in Women\'s Studies. Undertake a number of action research projects around community / older learners / intergenerational learning / learning community networks / resilient rural communities. Beginning Nov 2013 a new project, CITCOM, challenging ideas and practice of citizenship through promoting a more collaborative active citizenry using community development methods. This is a Grundtvig Multilateral project.
