Thanks for taking a minute to browse my profile. I\'ve worked as a quality engineer for the past 14 years, with most of that time serving as a QA Lead. I\'ve been a Senior Principal QA Engineer for several years, which involves test management, providing training, and ensuring quality through careful evaluation of risks, metrics, objectives, targets, resources, and other factors critical to a successful customer-focused release. Most of my hands-on experience is in manual testing with a focus on materials, lighting, rendering, and other visually-oriented features. I\'ve worked with a variety of testing methodologies including exploratory testing, rapid testing, Agile/SCRUM, and more.I\'m particularly interested in multi-product interoperability, workflow testing, and customer interaction. I focus on project/defect lifecycle (long or short) when testing and teaching, and see problems as an opportunity to increase customer satisfaction. My testing experience covers desktop products, mobile apps and web apps, with a current focus on Cloud and mobile.I have degrees from Columbia University, the Juilliard School of Music and the Arts, and Harvard University.

1. Senior Principal Qa Engineer

   Autodesk

   Jun 2000 — Present

   Manual testing, test lead, and test management for a wide range of Autodesk products. A few of these include 3ds MAX, 3ds VIZ, gMAX, mental ray, Combustion, AutoCAD, Impression, Showcase, the Suites family, and various cloud core services. Responsibilities include everything from writing test plans and performing testing, to management; these tasks include project and resource planning, training testers, defining quality objectives and metrics, daily follow-through, running crowd-sourced test cycles, and all other aspects of ensuring high-quality, customer-focused releases- Product Designer for Autodesk VIZ- Areas of product expertise include materials, rendering, lighting, interoperability, multi-product workflows, customer interaction.
