Responsible for the implementation of the overall B2B audience growth strategy including SmartBrief, the leading digital media publisher of targeted business news and information by industry. Working cross-functionally with the editorial, sales, partner and product teams, I oversee the subscriber growth and retention campaigns across owned, paid and partner channels. • Oversees the audience development and print/digital circulation budgets • Leverage knowledge of SEO, social media, digital industry trends and internal data to proactively identify strategies for further engaging our existing audience and growing new audiences. Leverage newsletters, social media channels, multimedia content, interactive experiences, etc. to execute these strategies. • Interpret data and share insights with editorial staff that drive more high-performance content • Work with the Product team to further optimize our sites based on audience trends and analysis • Work with editors to craft social media strategies and optimize content for SEO • Manage affiliate, barter and partnership strategy across SmartBrief and Future Legacy brands • Establish and set KPIs around audience development for SmartBrief and Future Legacy and report and track metrics organization-wide • Sets a strategy for, builds out, and oversees an audience development and circulation team • Leads and manages paid content marketing and advertising opportunities • Identifies strategic partnerships with brands and platforms that focus on the target audience, and on driving audiences to consume content • Works in collaboration with the development team to identify potential sponsorships and revenue generating partnerships, and collaborate to develop a strong audience to membership funnel
