ABOUT SHANA SHERMAN

Born and raised in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania Shana spent her days at West Chester University studying Psychology and Sociology. Even during her studies at WCU, Shana\'s passion and focus remained on music- where she constantly looked for a point of entry. Shana soon graduated in 2014, she then went to London to intern for Serious UK. While in her role she focused on Jazz and Contemporary music, Shana was able to maneuver around the music industry in various countries by networking and sustaining relationships. Soon after, that carried her career back to the states where she started to do trade shows and live events for Fortune 500 companies. Straying away from her original purpose she found her next opportunity top of 2016 when she bumped into Maxwell- and the head of Benchmark Entertainment where she became an executive assistant to the CEO. Rapidly she moved into a day-to-day management role working with the likes of Maxwell, K Michelle, India Arie, and Ledisi amongst others. She developed acts like Raveena and Dounia working alongside ON-EST (Co-Founded by Shana) a 360 marketing and management company. Shana continued this path for years until 2018 came and she was introduced to ZahSosaa out of Philadelphia and \"Rap\". Shana partnered along with Curtis \"Boonah\" Brinkley to build out now label, Stack or Starve Records where she currently works with the majority of acts out of Philadelphia. Shana consulted and worked with major labels like RCA, BMG, working with black executives like L.A Reid and Tunji Balogun. Shana now sits as Director of A&R at Def Jam, while simultaneously building Stack or Starve records out as a soon-to-be all-around label with various in-house services turning it into a global household name.
