ABOUT SHANA BOUYER

Resourceful and motivated, I am dedicated to helping and inspiring others to meet their fullest potential. My passion for the representation, inclusion, and building meaningful connections has driven me into seeking a career in diversifying and uplifting corporate environments. By doing so, I hope to educate and mentor others by helping them embrace change so that they can become their most authentic selves. Throughout my various roles, I have learned that one must truly learn from every life experience. Since receiving a M.A. in Communication: Public Relations and Advertising, I have been able to navigate many different avenues that have allowed me to pursue my personal mission of reducing social inequalities and misrepresentation around the world, starting with myself. My ultimate goal is to combine my love for the advertising and interpersonal communication and introduce it to the entertainment and publishing environment.Being able to gain and enhance skills through both professional and personal experiences I have realized my next goal of wanting to step into the world of entertainment and publishing. By utilizing my skills in media relations, teambuilding, and organization, I know I’m able to productively leading others and assisting individuals to achieve their goals. I strive to maintain accuracy and consistency in task completion, individual performance, and team goal-achievement, using acute attention to detail. With wanting to use advertising and communication as my vehicle for change I believe in this department, I would thrive best in and could see endless possibilities for growth. I am skilled in leadership, public speaking, organization, recruitment, communication, and planning.
