As a Behavioural Therapist, I work with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental needs using evidence-based behavioural interventions. My role involves conducting assessments, developing individualized behaviour plans, and delivering structured therapy sessions to improve communication, social, academic, and functional skills.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct behaviour assessments and identify target skills/behaviours.Develop & implement Individualized Behaviour Intervention Plans (BIPs).Use Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) principles, reinforcement strategies, and structured teaching methods.Support children in improving communication, social interaction, attention, and daily living skills.Track progress through data collection, session notes, and behaviour monitoring.Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure consistent support across settings.Modify intervention strategies based on progress and behavioural patterns.Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging therapy environment.

I am a Behavioural Therapist working with children and families to help them build meaningful skills, improve communication, and achieve long-term emotional and behavioural growth. My journey into this field began with a deep interest in human behaviour and a strong desire to make a real impact in people’s lives.Over the years, I have gained diverse experience working in child development, disability support, mental health awareness, and community-based initiatives. At Autism Ventures, Yelahanka, I work closely with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental conditions, using Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), reinforcement strategies, structured teaching, and individualized behaviour plans. Each session reminds me that progress is not always loud — sometimes it’s a small step that changes a child’s entire future.I also serve as the COO of Mentara, an online platform dedicated to mental health awareness, sex education, parenting guidance, and youth well-being.
