About Shamya Haria
I am a Master’s student at Northeastern University engineering at the intersection of Software Development and Applied Machine Learning. Unlike traditional researchers I focus on the last mile of AI by deploying complex models into usable and production ready consumer applications.Currently I serve as the Lead Engineer for Formify which is a patent pending iOS application I architected using the Apple Vision Framework and MoveNet to perform real time on edge skeletal tracking for fitness analysis. My background also spans enterprise software at Tech Mahindra where I built full stack workforce optimization tools that streamlined data management for large scale client teams.My technical toolkit includes React Node.js MongoDB and the MERN Stack alongside deep learning capabilities in Computer Vision NLP PyTorch and TensorFlow. I also specialize in mobile engineering using iOS Swift SwiftUI and CoreML while my undergraduate specialization in blockchain technology allows me to approach data integrity using Solidity and smart contracts.I am actively seeking Software Engineering and ML Internships for Summer 2026. Outside of engineering I am a lifelong basketball player bringing the same discipline and team first mentality to my sprint cycles as I do to the court.
