ABOUT SHAMSUDEEN DANDARE
I am a research scientist working at the interface of microbiology, biochemistry, and geosciences. My expertise spans microbial metabolism, biocatalysis, and molecular microbial ecology, with a focus on one-carbon cycling, methanotroph physiology, and microbially induced calcite precipitation (MICP). I integrate molecular biology, functional metagenomics, bioinformatics, and geochemical tools to understand microbial processes and deliver solutions for sustainable biotechnology, climate resilience, and resource recovery.I have authored over 20 scientific publications, secured competitive funding exceeding through scholarships and research grants, and contributed to patentable innovations.
