Hey there, Shamsheer here: a Data Scientist (and unabashed tech enthusiast) by day, a curious mind always. My niche lies in transforming messy data into stories that (hopefully) make sense. I currently work at ION, where every project is a complex puzzle with a huge potential for impact, and solving each one alongside an amazing team is both a thrill and a privilege. My academic path has been a unique mix: after diving into Computer Science courses in my junior college (yes, in Mumbai we call them junior college), I went on to earn a Bachelor of Technology in Data Science @ NMIMS. This wasn’t just about machine learning and AI; it also involved a strong foundation in traditional Computer Science, from software development to algorithm design, giving me both a broad and deep technical perspective. Alongside Python, Java, and C++, I’ve applied this knowledge to projects spanning API integration, NLP, and computer vision. What inspires me most is seeing the tangible impact of the solutions I create. Every project I work on from predictive models to user engagement algorithms, brings me closer to making data genuinely useful for people, especially when it drives meaningful, humanitarian benefits. Outside of work, I’m also an avid gamer, reader, and occasional professional procrastinator, but I’m always ready to dive into new worlds and challenges.
