Teach job search/career preparation and job retention skills through one-on-one interaction, seminars, and/or via small group settings.•Select and develop discipline-related internship opportunities in a variety of fields that meet the educational objectives of the college as well as federal and state legal and safety requirements.•Establish criteria and procedures for assessing student learning including observation of students at learning sites and providing necessary feedback to students regarding their performance.•Assess learning outcomes, using appropriate assessment tools and strategies.•Maintain records of student learning, evaluate progress, and assign course grades based on course assignments and site supervisor evaluation.•Complete all work experience paperwork.•Promote and market cooperative education internships and seminars to students, faculty, administration, employers and the community.•Select, create and/or adapt instructional materials.•Problem solve and manage sensitive information with appropriate FERPA standards; maintain confidentiality and sensitivity to the privacy needs of students.•Collegial participation in faculty performance evaluation process.•Create course content, develop and revise course content and materials.•Deliver curriculum to students in traditional and online formats.•Use of the Learning Management System (LMS) to publish and update content, post grades and promote student engagement amongst students with course content.•Use multiple modes of communication tools including online publishing, audio and video tools.•Monitor student progress and provide reasonable coaching and assistance to struggling students towards success.•Review and grade all work submitted by students and provide substantive feedback.•Post student attendance, grades, and course syllabus to the college LMS in accordance with college timelines.
