ABOUT SHAMIMA BEGUM

12 years of progressive experience in the banking industry with 9 years in operations and 3 years in management and leadership. Offering expertise in Operations, day to day running of the branch network including resourcing, rostering etc, mitigating risk in all areas relating to psychical and virtual branch activities. Several years of experience in managing and implementing changes across 9 different branches while having to liase with different stakeholders to ensure the change meet their requirements and has been implemented successfully and effectively. Excels in training and developing colleagues to support and deliver exceptional service to our customers. Energetic self-starter, team builder and able to navigate high-stress situations, whilst achieving goals on time. Capabilities of managing multiple projects at once, proven as experience has required working both physically and remotely in multiple branches simultaneously.I would also like to indicate that I have dyslexia and that I have a good support in place to help me and this has not hindered my ability at work or at university to complete a degree and has never stopped me from producing high quality work. I have found that my dyslexia has lead me to become more creative and think outside the box to help me achieve what i want and this has also further helped me develop my team in a different way which all staff can relate to as everyone has a different learning styles.
