As the Lead Engineer for HVAC & Fire Fighting systems in the 1600 MW CCGT project under an EPC contract, I am responsible for the complete engineering life cycle, including design review, technical evaluation, coordination with consultants and vendors, preparation and approval of material submittals, site execution, inspections, quality control, and ensuring full compliance with project specifications, international codes and local standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA), as well as client requirements to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient system installation and commissioningReview and approve QA/QC documents, Project Quality Plans, Quality Control Procedures, Method of Statements, Inspection Test Plans,Technical disclose & Risk Assessments,MAR,MRI,RFI,TN for all site activities.Review and approve concept and construction deliverables, including specifications, design fundamentalOverall plot plans, unit plot plans, grid layout plans, site grading plans, cut and fill plans, and utility summary plans.Review and approve calculations, designs, drawings, and reports. Address and resolve technical and site queries. Communicate effectively with customers regarding BOQ & BOM.Review and edit design work prior to submission to the chief designer and engineer for approval. Evaluate specifications, drawings, and vendor equipment documentation within the discipline, as well as across other disciplines, for compliance with project requirements and actively resolve discrepancies.Handled HVAC/FF design and site management, including reviewing technical drawings and related documents for accuracy and compliance.Conduct daily progress reviews with contractors and weekly progress meetings. Perform inspections and tests to ensure construction material quality meets technical specifications, ensuring quality control and cost management.Department to ensure smooth project execution. Ensure timely availability of required materials and verify them against the Bill of Quantities.
