Youth Leader – SAPNA Youth Leadership ProgramThe YP FoundationServing as a Youth Leader with the SAPNA Youth Leadership Program under The YP Foundation, a youth-led organization that empowers young people to become leaders in advancing social justice, gender equity, health awareness, and human rights. The organization focuses on building youth capacity and enabling meaningful participation of young people in community dialogue, policy engagement, and social change initiatives. In this role, I actively engage in youth-led discussions, digital outreach initiatives, and community conversations aimed at raising awareness on social issues and amplifying youth voices. Through advocacy, dialogue facilitation, and social media engagement, I contribute to creating inclusive platforms where young people can share perspectives, learn about their rights, and participate in constructive social change. This experience has significantly strengthened my leadership, digital advocacy, public engagement, strategic communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills, while also enhancing my ability to drive youth-led initiatives and build impactful networks within the social development ecosystem.

ABOUT SHAMBHAVI SHARMA
I am a youth leader and social impact enthusiast currently working at the intersection of community engagement, youth development, and social initiatives. I am presently serving as a Fellow with the Orange Tree Foundation and as a Youth Leader under the SAPNA Youth Leadership Program at The YP Foundation, where I engage with youth-driven initiatives focused on dialogue, awareness, and community participation.Over the past year, I have actively contributed to programs that create spaces for young people to discuss social challenges, build leadership skills, and participate in meaningful conversations around civic awareness and community issues. Through my engagement with the Samjota dialogue initiative, I participated in youth-led discussions that promoted awareness about constitutional rights and encouraged constructive dialogue on social issues.Alongside my fellowship work, I have also volunteered with Pledge A Smile Foundation as part of their Summer Cohort, supporting fundraising campaigns aimed at assisting underserved communities through initiatives focused on hunger relief and educational support. Additionally, I organized and hosted a large-scale event for World Standards Day with participation from over 500 attendees, sponsored by the Bureau of Indian Standards, facilitating discussions on the importance of standards and quality in development.These experiences have helped me develop strong skills in youth leadership, community engagement, event facilitation, public communication, and collaborative problem-solving. I am passionate about working with young people, building inclusive platforms for dialogue, and contributing to initiatives that create positive and sustainable social impact.Always open to connecting with like-minded individuals and exploring opportunities to collaborate, learn, and create meaningful impact.
