I am apart of the Technology Development Program where I work alongside distinguished engineers and developers leveraging modern technologies to transform and improve health care with a focus on simplification, enablement, enhancement, and modernization. The program consists of 12 months of training with the option of rotating into a new role after the first six months. Rotation 1 ( Backend Engineer) Involved in developing an analytic client library that enabled clients to publish messages to Microsoft Event Hubs. These messages can then be used for real-time analytics, monitoring, and data insights. The library included features that allowed clients to configure various aspects of the connection, such as the target Event Hub, partition key, batch size, and more. Rotation 2 ( React Native Engineer) Created new features for the UnitedHealthcare mobile platform using React Native and hosting them for over users. Collaborated with other developers, designers, product managers, and QA testers to ensure the successful delivery of the features.
