NDC Trades was born from my passion for empowering youth and creating tangible pathways to success through skilled trades. As a co-founder, I led the brand development and built the digital infrastructure from the ground up—crafting systems, processes, and online platforms to support a grassroots vision for real community impact.This was my first venture into the nonprofit world, and it challenged me to think differently. I created the concept of the Festival Tour, which brought NDC to major events like Afrofest, helping us connect directly with communities and educate thousands about opportunities in trades and skilled careers.Beyond branding and tech, this role has been deeply humbling. Working with large teams and community stakeholders taught me the value of collaboration, listening, and making room for others to lead. I made the conscious decision to reduce my day-to-day involvement to allow space for new growth—both for myself and for the community to steer the initiatives in ways that reflect their evolving needs.
