About Shalv Madhani

My experience in medical devices spans includes Clinical Development Engineering and Research and Development. I currently work on a robotic bronchoscopy system (Ion by Intuitive). I\'ve previously worked on a minimally invasive Heart Valve repair device (Pascal by Edwards Lifesciences). During my research experience prior to Industry, I developed a wearable and portable Artificial Lung Device (University of Pittsburgh). The IP for the Artificial Lung Device was licensed for commercialization in 2022. I have also worked in Health Care as an Artificial Heart Engineer, caring for patients with Artificial Hearts or Ventricular Assist Devices (UPMC - Presbyterian, and UPMC - Childeren\'s Hospital). I have a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering (Georgia Tech), Ph.D in Bioengineering (University of Pittsburgh), and certification as a Six Sigma Blackbelt (Edwards Lifesciences). I\'m passionate about medical devices and use by background and experiences to bring new technology to the field.
