About Shalini Solomon

I\'m a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Licensed Behavior Analyst (HI, MO, NC, NJ) based in Hawaii, originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I bring over a decade of experience supporting neurodivergent individuals, families, educators, and school teams through collaborative, ABA-informed services grounded in respect, practicality, and real-world application. My work spans home, clinic, and school settings, with a strong focus on school consultation, caregiver-led approaches, and interdisciplinary collaboration. I currently work within the Honolulu Department of Education school system, partnering with educators to conduct functional behavior assessments, develop individualized behavior intervention plans, and support school-based teams and RBTs across diverse classroom environments. In addition to school-based work, I provide private consultation and remote services for families and professionals seeking individualized ABA support and coaching. I also serve as an Associate Professor in a master’s-level ABA program, teaching assessment, intervention, ethics, and supervision with an emphasis on translating theory into practice. My clinical interests include developmentally appropriate behavior education related to boundaries, body awareness, consent, sexuality, and gender. I am a student in the Certified Behavioral Sexology (CBS) program and am pursuing a Doctorate in Behavioral Health at Arizona State University, with a focus on leadership and management. I am committed to advancing inclusive, affirming, and collaborative behavior-analytic practice.
