ABOUT SHALEETA HARRISON
I currently work at the BCIT Student Association as the Director of Engagement. I graduated from Vancouver Island University in 2015, and soon after, I took on the role of Executive Director. In that position, I edited and designed the magazine, WordWorks, and handled operations for the organization itself. I still take on occasional freelance jobs and most recently spent a year working with April\'s Aquarium, an aquatics store in the Greater Vancouver area. I sit on the board of directors for the Magazine Association of BC, and I write poetry and do art in my (limited) spare time.
