Holding and weaving stories of brands who want to create an image in the consumer\'s mind through branding. I’m Shalaka Rao from Paperclips. I live in Surat but have worked with different sectors of industries from Canada and US too.With a strong inclination to weave words, I let my words speak for me. A deep penchant for words led me to walk toward a creative path. Nurturing a personal blog, I expressed myself through the power of words. I invested my free time thinking about different grocery brands; how did a brand come into being? What was the core idea behind the brand? How have they created their brand identity- developing a keen interest to understand branding from the core. At the dawn of my career, I worked for a content marketing firm, and the experience became a turning point in my life. And here I am, a co-holder of Paperclips with my younger sister Shreya. I keep a bird’s eye view at all the aspects of Paperclips. I am a techie and thus, responsible to handle all the technical and analytical aspects of Paperclips. Paperclips is a brand consultancy firm founded by the Rao sisters in the year 2017. The vision of Paperclips is to create a space where every brand has a story to tell, a soul that is waiting to be explored and is breathing alive, craving to stay connected with more and more people. Paperclips builds brands with the careful integration of 4 principles : research, strategy, art and logic. Deriving a sound brand strategy and translating it through powerful design and content, appealing to all senses, is one of the charms of Paperclips.We build the character of the brand by amplifying the core values of the business. By unifying all the aspects of the business and studying consumer psychology; we portray a brand image that truly defines who the brand is, what the brand wants to be known for and what the customer should feel when they engage with that brand.Creating an unforgettable brand takes work, consistency, and a ton of love and we at Paperclips are enthusiastic to build brands that consumers love to associate and relate to and can’t resist coming back for more.
