As a Supervisor my responsibilities involve collaborating with landlords and community organizations to assist Fairbanks residents facing homelessness as well as speaking at events, setting up and running booths, meeting with VASH, FNA, TCC, IAC and other organizations as needed. Also overseeing the Housing Choice Voucher program in Fairbanks and managing a team while managing a case load of clients in specialty Set Aside Vouchers. This entails using Yardi based programs like Voyager and RentCafe. Also setting up briefing classes through Site Manager. Lots of paperwork and follow up via email in Microsoft & Yardi, as well as many phone calls. We also meet clients and vendors in person. HQS & NSPIRE certified for housing inspections that are new move-ins, annual or special. As an Asset Technician my responsibilities involved management of low income public housing. Regularly conducting physical inspections of units, building, and systems. Management of buildings and financial performance of properties. Maximize property’s income and occupancy. Coordinates admission to ensure prompt leasing of ready units. Assisting with marketing and recruitment of applicants for wait list, work closely with intake staff and maintenance to providing occupancy reporting. Conduct regular and interim exams in a timely and accurately in compliance with Admission and Occupancy Policy. Assist with enforcing lease firmly and fairly on all residents.
