About Shakeer Meeran
I am the Partner and Founder of Skylights Energy, a company that offers live plant energy performance, visualisations and long term economic benefits through energy analytics. I have extensive experience in design and manufacturing of power distribution and protection schemes, switchgear products, electric panel enclosures in low-voltage and medium-voltage segments.With over 10years experience in the power market economic analysis for North America, and I have helped several clients optimise their plant operations and maximise their revenue generation. I hold a MSEE Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, IL where I specialised in power systems engineering.I am also the Vice Chairman of COSMA Karnataka, a control panel switchgear manufacturers association in India, where I advocate for the interests and needs of the industry. My mission is to provide efficient and economic strategies to reduce the carbon footprint and energy waste of small and large-scale industries.
