I am an Internationally Experienced Senior Finance Director, with 21 years of experience in contributing to the bottom line in all the organizations where I have worked. I have a strong track record that includes building strategic visions in difficult situations, delivering business growth despite significant challenges, achieving cost containment in testing environments, completing challenging programs in reluctant organizations and improving complex processes where little existed before.I have the ability to take the strategic longer-term view of the business from a financial perspective, ensuring growth through guiding every business I have been involved with in an ambitious yet realistic direction.I also have a passion for business performance management. This can be seen in my strong history of being a trusted business partner, delivering business value growth. I have well-developed leadership capabilities which, coupled with my strong ability to build trust-based relationships, result in successful delivery of change programs.I have worked on 3 continents, and in all circumstances I have demonstrated leadership in financial reporting, appraisals, ERP implementation and risk management. Through these, I produce enhanced business performance by focusing on both value and risk.Some of my major successes: Identifying over USD 2.8Bn of impairments on assets of USD 40Bn, by setting up a multi-stakeholder cross-business project, developing in-depth plans for each asset, and challenging long-held assumptions. Implementing a scalable Management Information solution for 19 chemical plants and refineries, by redefining the global appraisal process, aligning data across plants and creating a common data platform. Developing an industry-redefining business model which increased market share by 20%, by designing incentive schemes, developing control systems, and executing the program to the highest quality.
