ABOUT SHAKEEL UDDIN
Hi, I’m Shakeel. My passion for technology started at a young age, sparked by a love for video games, websites, and apps. As I got older especially around 17 or 18 I became more and more curious about how these digital tools were actually built. I found myself asking: How are websites and applications made? What skills go into developing software? That curiosity marked the beginning of my journey into the world of IT. I began building a strong foundation in computing during college, where I earned three distinctions. That achievement only fuelled my interest further—especially when it came to programming languages and technology stacks. In 2011, I took things a step further by enrolling at Queen Mary University to study Computer Science and Business. While I may no longer be a student in the traditional sense, I still consider myself a lifelong learner. I’m always exploring new technologies and staying on top of this ever-evolving field. For me, every day is a chance to learn something new. Technology isn’t just a passion—it’s the future. My mission is simple: keep growing, keep learning, and keep evolving.Today, I’m a forward-thinking and versatile tech professional, currently part of Nationwide’s Technology Development Programme. I bring a strong foundation in software engineering, Agile delivery, and cloud infrastructure. I’ve worked hands-on with Java development and have an analytical background spanning both financial services and healthcare.I’m known for being proactive, collaborative, and a strong problem-solver—someone who thrives in fast-paced, challenging environments. I’m always looking for ways to make an impact and help deliver real value through technology.🧑 Programming & ToolsJava, IntelliJ, GitHub, Postman, Kubernetes, Apigee, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React Development MethodologiesAgile, Scrum, Sprint Planning, Story Pointing, Code Reviews Technical ProficienciesAPI Development, Debugging, Unit Testing, CI/CD Practices, Cloud Architecture🤝 Soft SkillsStrong Communication, Stakeholder Engagement, Team Collaboration, Time Management Office & Admin ToolsEMIS, Microsoft Office Tools, PowerPoint, Jira, Service Desk Tools My GitHub Page -https://github.com/ShakeelsCodingWorld
