During my tenure at Laxminiwas & Co i got an opportunity to get the exposure in the following- Involved in vouching of one of the statutory audit of a private company engaged in distributing medical appliances and medicines all over the country- Counted all physical inventory, generated department audit reports, performed reconciliation of computer data with the physical counts taken and reported on errors found- Involed in audit of certain core areas such as revenue from operations along with compliance with IndAS 115, other operating income which involed export incentives i.e, duty drawback (DBK), RoDTEP, advance licenses etc & other income which include industrial incentives received from various state governments along with compliance with IndAS 20- Involed in audit of payroll of human resource with employees- Dealt in detail with compliance of ESI, PT, PF, Gratuity, Bonus, Minimum wage rate of various states- Dealt in detail with SEBI(LODR), ROC & RBI compliances- Verified borrowings amounting to Rs.300Cr & its related compliance along with IndAS 109 - Performed analytical procedures on other expenses amounting to Rs. 114Cr & done detailed ledger scurtiny for the same- Verified physical cash & performed bank reconciliations- Identified internal control weaknesses & provided recommendatiosn to overcome the deficiencies for the area of customer & employee support services- Performed physical verification of PPE & recalculated depreciation to ensure accuracy- Drafted & obtained external confirmation letter in accordance with SA 505- Involed in pre-engagement planning & preparing audit plan, strategy and engagement letter- Involved in finalization & book closure process along with schedule 3 & applicable FRF- Prepared audit report & ensure compliance with CARO 2020
