Since joining Skanska UK in 2005,I have further developed this experience through my contribution to number of successful tenders in the infrastructure, rail and energy from waste.Lead and manage the team of estimators to provide competitive pricing from first principle for direct and indirect works. Manage the financial element of the tendering process from receipt of tender documents to submission. Effective management of the estimating process on major tenders, Coordinate with Planning, procurement, environmental, health and safety, temporary works, design, and construction teams. Provide tenders that have been well considered, value engineered and give the best cost-effective solution. Ensure value and risk management processes are applied across the tenders to ensure consistency. Ensure compliance with company and departmental processes. Ensure tenders are presented for corporate governance (review) in a clear, concise, and in standard format. Support the delivery team in any post tender negotiations.
