Advise senior leadership on policy, strategy, and resource allocation for Careers Education, Information, Advice, and Guidance (CEIAG).Develop and implement a CEIAG development plan in alignment with the Gatsby Benchmarks.Review and evaluate the effectiveness of CEIAG provision, providing progress reports to senior leaders and governors.Deliver tailored one-on-one career guidance interviews to support students in exploring diverse career and educational pathways.Organise and oversee work experience placements for KS4 and KS5 students, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.Manage the Year 10 and Year 12 work experience programs, maintaining accurate and timely record-keeping for all stakeholders.Supervise, manage, and maintain the Learning Resource Centre, fostering independent learning and supporting lessons.Collaborate with the PSHE lead to plan careers education resources and support teachers in delivering careers-focused lessons.Monitor the quality of teaching and learning in careers education, ensuring high standards across the curriculum.Build and maintain relationships with employers, apprenticeship providers, further education colleges, universities, and the Academy’s alumni network to enhance career opportunities for students.Work closely with pastoral teams to identify and support students in need of career guidance.Refer students to external career support services as needed.
