Acting as lead interface to manufacturing sites to resolve supply issues relating to the production technology Key Responsibilities-Operational Excellence Supply planning- Implement and maintain inventory and material management strategies for all finished goods by regular review and optimization of inventory parameters and levels (e.g. reorder point, safety stock etc.)- Identifying & managing potential inventory obsolescence to minimize write offs- Conducting RCA for supply chain issues/variances and perform define corrective action plans to avoid re-occurrence.Distribution Planning- Reviewing system generated service alerts for deploying FG inventory across the network (General Mills CSF/warehouses) to achieve service level case-fill goals while balancing the inventory constraints with transportation costs- Distribution planning of SKU’s across the supply chain network to achieve the fill rate- Maintaining inventory levels at all Warehouses (CSFs) within expected tolerances (space/transportation/inventory constraints)- Creating/Adjusting deployment requisitions to ensure smooth and steady flow of product to the CSFs- Reviewing product obsolescence/age management reports to proactively re-deploy inventory across locations as needed.Demand Planning- Dis-aggregate forecast for all GM products to granular level which is to be used for production and deployment purposes transportation costs- Trend/Bias Analysis- To make continuous refinement to operational forecast through trend report- New Item/In-out/ Commit based SKU’s forecast alignment- Providing regular reporting and updates on key performance metrics such as Forecast error.
