ABOUT SHAILENDRA SINGH
Dr. Shailendra Singh is a Gastroenterologist and Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopist. He is an Associate Professor and Director of Bariatric Endoscopy at West Virginia University, Morgantown. Dr. Singh\'s clinical and teaching interests include EUS, ERCP, pancreatobiliary diseases, and minimally invasive endoscopic procedures focusing on endoscopic treatment of obesity, GERD, and postsurgical complications He is one of the leaders in the country in performing Endoscopic Sleeve gastroplasty procedures for weight loss. He also devotes his time to research focusing on pancreatobiliary diseases, advanced endoscopic procedures, outcomes research using big databases, and innovative bariatric endoscopy procedures and devices. His work has resulted in numerous publications in reputed gastroenterology and bariatric journals and extensive media coverage. He is working on developing innovative endoscopic weight loss methods and devices and has been granted patents. He is the editor and reviewer of several medical journals and serves on national committees.
