About Shail B. Desai

Hi! My name is Shail Desai. As of 2025, I am a third-year law school student attending the University of Baltimore School of Law. Currently, I am focusing on expanding my knowledge at law school and leveraging my skills in order to impact my communities in positive ways. During the summer of 2024, I utilized my law school knowledge and gained practical experience with two legal internships in which I was exposed to complex legal issues involving constitutional law, employment law along with more.In regard to my experience, I began law school in the Fall of 2023. In May of 2022, I graduated from Rutgers University with a B.A. degree for my double major in both Human Resource Management as well as Labor Studies and Employment Relations with Cum Laude honors. After I graduated, I worked at William Morris Endeavor. During college, I interned at William Morris Endeavor and Rutgers University. Also, I spent time during the summer of my Freshman year visiting family in India and volunteering at a hospital - it was an impactful period of my life. Since 2021, I have worked at Monroe Wine & Spirits. Also, during the pandemic, I created What We Think Is Dope (WWTID): What We Think Is Dope is a multimedia entity that interviews creative individuals and creates engaging content that provides value to WWTID’s community members.My objective is to become a lawyer. Now, I am seeking connections, communities, stories and opportunities that will both broaden my knowledge along with help me prepare for my future.
