Transform data from Hadoop and move it into Teradata vantage(ETL). Work with pyspark libraries to process data that come in quarterly for comparing the dataset that is currently present and new data from the data providers Data Axle, Axiom and load it into Athena tables for marketing campaigns. Generate reports using Tableau or Power BI for showing the effectiveness of the campaign.• Use python scripts and wheel files to load data from the data providers into databricks and ultimately load it into Terradata. This uses SCD and incremental logic to only impact the delta records that have changed, not do a kill and fill.• Data curation/data wrangling and data cleansing and data mapping to automate the vendor data load into terradata vantage tables for consumption by the marketing team.• Design, implement, and support a platform providing secured access to large datasets.• Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions.• Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation.• Work with data scientist to provide data curated for their marketing campaigns.• Use terraform scripts to create AWS objects. Deploy scripts to development and production environments using terraform.• Support jobs the run in production for updating the data in the teradata vantage tables, ensure timely completion and fix any data issues that lead to job failures. Us CA workload automation tools to manage workload.• Extensive knowledge working with ETL tools like Informatica Power centre, IBM Infosphere Data Stage, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services and reporting tools like Tableau, MS SSRS and MS Power BI.
