ABOUT SHAIL ARORA
Shail Arora is President of LaborEdge LLC. In this capacity, Shail’s primary focus is the shaping of LaborEdge’s corporate strategy and branding in order to leverage the company’s mindshare and niche market focus. He plays the role of a strategic anchor, responsible for establishing the LaborEdge brand for high-touch customers, while simultaneously delivering the model of excellence.Shail is an accomplished serial entrepreneurial professional and a multi-dimensional management executive with a mix of outstanding business skills and technical knowledge.Previously, Shail co-founded and successfully built Gradepoint, a learning solutions technology company, which was eventually acquired by Adayana Inc. He was also a Managing Partner for Vineyard Capital Group and has served on the board of directors for several firms.Before Gradepoint, his roles included CIO at a private equity funded computing technology and services firm, a Principal at IBM running a national advanced technology practice and as a senior director at a large health system.Shail began his career at EDS working in advanced technologies including artificial intelligence, knowledge-based systems, and object technology. In recognition of his accomplishments, the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) selected Shail to chair the OOPLSA 2009 conference.Shail is deeply involved in numerous projects focused on the revitalization of Detroit.
