ABOUT AREEB

I am an artist, turned scientist, turned philosopher. I believe it\'s the love triangle of these three fields that creates a perfect marketer. Today I have the knowledge, proven expertise, and a broad leadership skillset, but it all started years ago with a quest to understand the power of marketing. In an attempt to unravel its mysteries of power and influence, I stepped into this field and became a content writer. As I worked across different industries, I started to imagine myself among the great artists of our time who can create images, lifestyles, and even complete worlds in their audience\'s minds. In my mind, marketing was an art that can be perfected through practice, therefore, I continued exploring its different fields and dynamics. I learned to create social media blueprints, branding strategies, and content management plans, while developing the ability to map customer buying journey, product launch strategies, and email marketing systems. I had learned that practice makes an art perfect, but I was far from reaching this goal. That is how I shifted towards a scientific approach to marketing. My experience introduced me to systems that enabled great results and high productivity. I worked on developing marketing frameworks with startups and small businesses, and managed country-wide portfolios and teams for Multinational Corporations. I observed the FMCG, automobile, SAAS, consultancy, retail, business services, and many other industries from the eyes of a principal and an agency. I acquired leadership and marketing certifications from the likes of School of Leadership, Google, and HubSpot in search of systems that can make me a perfect marketer, but I was still missing the third key. The revelation of this third key came to me in a quaint place called Newfoundland. Surprisingly, the source of this inspiration was not education or industry experience, but the attitudes of people that surrounded me. When I discovered how just a polite smile of a stranger can lead to a relaxed mind and a beautiful day, I discovered the philosophical side of marketing. I learned that there cannot be a perfect system or a specific amount of experience that creates a good marketer, but a philosopher who doesn\'t stop asking the question \"Why?\". As every person and every conversation is different, the skill we marketers need most is the ability to adapt. Marketing and leadership are never ending quests of learning and improving. Let\'s have this journey together. After all, the meaning of \"quest\" is \"to seek\", not \"to find\".
