ABOUT SHAIEL MARTINEZ

I’ve always been someone who works well with people and steps into leadership naturally. Whether I’m coordinating a film crew, managing a restaurant team during peak hours, helping families communicate through interpretation, or supporting customers at the bank, my focus is always the same: clarity, efficiency, and empathy.Today, I’m pursuing my B.B.A. in Business Management (Operations) at Stony Brook University, while continuing to work in roles that build my experience in operations, training, customer engagement, financial services, and nonprofit communication. I’ve also developed an international perspective through my studies in Global Marketing and International Finance at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.My background in filmmaking taught me teamwork, attention to detail, and adaptability. My experience in management taught me accountability. My work in nonprofits taught me service. And my current roles continue to shape me into a well-rounded professional capable of excelling in cross-functional, people-centered environments.I’m driven by growth, continuous learning, and opportunities to make a meaningful difference in the communities I serve.
