About Shaibu Fuseini

Shaibu Fuseini is a development professional and agri-entrepreneur with over a decade of experience leading strategic interventions with non-governmental organizations across youth empowerment, agricultural value chains, social entrepreneurship, climate change adaptation, and poverty alleviation.He holds a Master’s degree in Development Policy and Planning from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). He is currently a PhD student at Kansas State University’s Staley School of Leadership Studies, where he specializes in Leadership Communication with a focus on Agricultural Leadership Education. His academic and professional interests center on strengthening leadership capacity and knowledge transfer systems to advance sustainable and resilient food systems.Previously, Shaibu served as Project Coordinator for the European Union-funded “Boosting Green Employment and Enterprise Opportunities in Ghana (GrEEn)” Project, implemented by SOS Children’s Villages Ghana. In this role, he supported the creation of green jobs for youth and helped build sustainable, climate-resilient local economies across two regions of Ghana.He also serves as Executive Director of AgroLeadership Centre, a social enterprise that applies systems thinking and collective leadership approaches to promote climate leadership and sustainable agriculture in Ghana.Beyond his professional work, Shaibu is an active member of the Global Shapers Community (Kumasi Hub), where he volunteers on community-driven humanitarian initiatives. He is also the Co-founder of Eid Feast Ghana, an annual fundraising campaign that provides food and beverages to underserved families during Eid celebrations in Kumasi, Ghana. Driven by a strong commitment to youth and agricultural development, Shaibu is passionate about contributing to a new generation of young leaders shaping inclusive, resilient, and sustainable futures for the African continent and beyond
