About Shai Zelering
Shai Zelering is a Managing Partner and Head of Hospitality Investments in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, he is responsible for strategic portfolio management, investments, asset management, large-scale capital deployment and effective disposition strategies within the hospitality sector globally. Prior to joining Brookfield Properties in 2014, Mr. Zelering worked for a dedicated lodging private equity firm. He has significant experience in various roles in hotel operations. Mr. Zelering holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Science degree from The School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University. Mr. Zelering serves on the Board of Directors for Center Parcs in the U.K, Leela Palaces Hotels in India and Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas.
