Shahzad Shaikh is a Managing Director in the Real Estate Capital Markets division at Regions Bank, focusing on the Fannie Mae Conventional and Small Loan businesses, and the Freddie Mac Conventional business. In total, he was responsible for over $3.5 billion in financing for various products including conventional multifamily, student housing, affordable and manufactured housing. Mr. Shaikh began his real estate career at Fannie Mae Multifamily where he served as a pricing strategist for all multifamily debt products and as senior investment manager, underwriting both senior and mezzanine debt for the firm. Shahzad received his bachelor’s degree in finance and Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland.
