   Management automation NoSQL database resources - Maintain NoSQL database resources of the organization, including automated setups, custom monitoring, and performance monitoring. I’m responsible for building tools and visualizations around this echo-system for intelligent and actionable monitoring, thereby making the systems highly observable. Platform: AWS(CloudFormation, Lambda functions, S3) Tools: CouchBase, ElasticSearch(ELK), Python, Flask Trend based monitoring tool —​ Rewrote a monitoring tool, which was based on preset thresholds for generating alerts to an intelligent trend based alert generation and monitoring tool. It continuously monitors metrics and based on slope calculation, and NRMSE of the samples, intelligently alerts on actual events only, avoiding false positives. It helped save precious man hours for the company which would otherwise have been lost to tending to several false positives on the previous monitoring tools. Language: Python Tools/Libraries: numpy, charts, couchbase Custom Job Automation Tool —​ Designed and implemented an automation tool in Python, similar to Ansible, fo In-house job automation and reporting. With its easy configuration module, it can be used for any project/application to run complex automation workflows reliably across nodes in a cluster. It’s used internally at the company for remote automation as well as debugging and auditing of cluster nodes for several projects. Based on the configuration, graphs of the job run will be auto generated on its associated user interface page.
