Shahram Jamali is a mechanical & MEP Engineer, graduated from University of Texas at Austin, with 23 years’ experience in leading Engineering and high tech companies. Mr. Jamali is a licensed Professional Engineer, Licensed Mechanical Contractor and Licensed Real Estate Broker in State of Texas.Mr. Jamali is the Co-Founder and CEO of Austin Career Institute (ACI). ACI is a nationally accredited post-secondary school with the mission of empowering all people who have ambition to improve their lives, especially low-income individuals, Veterans, displaced or laid off workers and New Americans into better paying, high demand careers through quality, short-term education.He is a visionary, proven leader in the Engineering and education industries, and passionate about empowering low-income individuals through education. Through Mr. Jamali’s leadership, Austin Career Institute has accomplished great success and has been recognized locally and nationally. • For its innovative educational programs and contributions to American society, Austin Career Institute was invited to participate in The White House’s National Skills and Credential Institute conference. ACI was honored to be one of only four organizations in the Texas White House delegation, the only organization from Austin, and the only private school in the country chosen among thousands of candidates nationwide.• The Career Colleges & Schools of Texas (CCST) Awards Committee selected ACI as its 2016 recipient for the Innovator of the year Award. CCST is an association that represents over 200 schools that are a vital part of higher education in the state of Texas. • ACI was recognized by the City of Austin and received a Proclamation from the Mayor. Austin Mayor, Steve Adler, proclaimed December 1st, 2016 as Austin Career Institute Day in Austin.• ACI presented City of Austin with a recognition certificate on behalf The White House for its dedication and commitment to the principles of the Building Welcoming Communities Campaign. Texas White House delegates FMUMP and Austin Career Institute made the presentation. • On November 21, 2014, the President established the White House Task Force on New Americans—a government-wide effort tasked with better integrating immigrants and refugees into American communities. In 2016, ACI was honored with membership in President Obama administration’s Taskforce on New Americans. • On October of 2019 ACI Texas Workforce Solutions Capital area (C2) honored Austin Career Institute as the partner of the year.
