Innovative and highly motivated Instrumentation and Control Engineer with over 20 years of proven experience in mining & metal industry and oil & gas projects such as refineries, direct fired heaters and burner management systems, Petrochemicals, gas gathering plant’s, treating plants, compressor stations, offshore/onshore facilities, SAGD plants and Utility systems.• Extensive experience in Instrumentation and Control design engineering from kick off to fabrication, commissioning and start up. • Full participation in all feasibility studies and Pre-FEED, FEED and Detail design engineering.• Extensive knowledge to oversee and evaluate the bids and detailed scope of work, preparing I&C design criteria, construction SOW and MOC, budget forecasting, resourcing and man hour estimation and addressing the client’s technical queries. Participation in HAZOP/ LOPA and SIL review and building a progressive relationship with clients and sub- contractors in all phase of the project. • Proficient in generating numerous engineering documentation which are not limited to: Data sheets, specification sheets, Alarm and Interlock list, Instrument index, PLC IO list, SD key, Control narrative, Material requisitions, Hook up and installation diagrams, Sizing JB and PLC/ DCS control panel design including wiring and termination details, Fibre optic terminations, network architecture drawings, Cable schedule and cable tray loading details, Electrical load calculation and UPS sizing. • Highly experienced team member, task oriented, problem solver, team motivator with great attention to details in evaluation, squad checking and optimum approval procedures of vendor and sub-contractor’s engineering documents/ deliverables or documents prepared internally. • Proficient in generating technical bid evaluation, RFQ and RFP document preparation including squad checks and input into P & ID, vendor drawing and final deliverables.• Proficient in sizing and selection with various sizing software for control valves, flowmeters, process analytical systems, safety valves, actuators, thermowells etc.• Experienced in Pre- Commissioning, FAT/ HAT/ SAT test participation, Troubleshooting, Loop checking, Calibration, Maintenance and regular or planned system overhaul and manage the process work flow.• Proficient in MS office and outlook.
