About Shah Mohammad Fahim
I am a physician with training and experience in nutrition, epidemiology, and infectious diseases. Currently, I am involved in research projects on nutrition, inflammation, and gut microbial dysbiosis in children, adolescents, and women of reproductive age. My earlier research involves the investigation and validation of non-invasive EED biomarkers against small bowel histopathology, leveraging a community-based intervention trial and evaluation of a microbiota-directed complementary food intervention in repairing the gut microbiota and improving growth outcomes of malnourished children. I am keen to pursue a career in epidemiology and data science with a particular focus on international nutrition and global health.
