A successful, and resourceful team leader with solid experience in the global construction industry, working as client, consultant and main contractor. Winning, managing and delivering a diverse portfolio of M&E and Fitout projects, that included infrastructure, hotels, financial institutions, health clinics, educational establishments, residential and retail units. Experienced in the use of FIDIC and JCT contracts. MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS Working for the British Council and based in London, successfully delivered 46 building projects in 30 countries over 5 years, often in countries with unfavourable economic conditions and sometimes coupled with political upheavals. Established a profitable design driven business with strong M&E bias. Responsible for High Gate Interiors being nominated as one of the top 5 Interior Fitout companies in Dubai annually from 2010 to 2014. Project Managed the design and construction of the world-renowned £150 million Gate Village financial complex in Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). Winner of Retrofit Project of the year 2011 award for Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry Led the design and build team that delivered the first ever full LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified project in the Middle East. Steered the design team that won the RIBA International Award in 2006 for a project in Africa. Managed the design team and oversaw the construction of the second phase of Eastern Caribbean Central Bank. The first bank to have introduced common currency across 8 separate countries (Eastern Caribbean Dollar).
