As a journalist I\'ve covered and broken major stories out of Karachi encompassing a diverse range of beats including politics, political and religious militancy, gang wars, human rights, diplomatic affairs, urban affairs, the armed forces, minorities, and general human interest features. As the first reporter in Pakistan to live-tweet reportage through picture and video I was able to garner a large social media following. I have written for, appeared as an analyst, and had my work featured in The Caravan, New York Times, Foreign Policy, BBC, Al Jazeera English, ABC, Real Clear World, Current TV, Carbonated TV, CNN-IBN, NDTV, and The Express Tribune among others.
