ABOUT SHAHEER SIDDIQI
As someone who has been working in the supply chain industry for over 5 years, I enjoy operating in the dynamic of logistics and data where I am presented with new puzzles and operational challenges to solve, encouraging me to think creatively and rationally to resolve bottlenecks in the supply chain. Part of my role involves converting raw data into information which I use to detect patterns and anomalies. I then gather the right stakeholders and generate a plan to streamline the supply chain with a concrete root-cause/corrective action in place. I am currently enrolled in the University of Chicago Booth’s Evening MBA program to advance my knowledge in data analytics, project management, strategic management and behavioral science. Some of my favorite classes include using Python and R to compile and analyze statistical data to make predictions about market trends and provide consulting services to the weekly case assigned. My other top classes include managing projects and operations, effectively honing my skills in the current industry that I work in. In my free time I like to code, build electricals, play the guitar and run (8:40min/mi). I will be running my first full marathon this coming October in Chicago I am also an avid Star Wars fan.
