ABOUT SHAFI KEISLER

As a management leader and engineer, I\'ve partnered with multidisciplinary teams to deliver results in energy, manufacturing, and technology sectors. With extensive experience in engineering, project management, and commercial contracting, I am proud to be part of the clean and renewable energy industry.I have well-honed communication, presentation, negotiation, and EQ skills to overcome blockers, manage conflict, and deliver results under pressure and demanding deadlines. I\'m adept at managing multiple projects across Capex/Opex, including investment, strategy, risk management /mitigation, and best practices. My entrepreneurial drive led me to form a manufacturing company designing and building automobile transmission systems, where my team and I grew it to over $65 million in revenue over 14 years with sales in the US and 18 foreign countries.Something I\'m proud of: Helping our collegiate students through collaboration. While enrolled in the MBA program at CofC, I formed the MBA Task Force, where I engaged 17 cohort members to form consulting teams and provide projects for large and small businesses in the region. I mentored them in outreach, project mgmt, and working as a consultant. The team members landed jobs quickly, which led to CofC receiving US News and World Report rank of #1 for job placement within 90 days in 2017. The program has adopted this task force approach going forward.My education includes a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech, where I interned at NASA on the Space Shuttle program. I have an MBA in Finance and PMP certification, and I am an active member of and the Project Management Institute, Charleston SC Chapter. Please read my peer reviews.
