ABOUT SHAFEEQ MUHAMMAD

A versatile lead technical consultant with years of experience in Software Development, database base development, and software development training.I started my career as a software developer and developed software for many organizations using different technologies like java, C sharp, oracle, MySQL, php etc. After doing software development for years I switched to software development training and conducted different types of teaching, training and mentoring sessions with different universities, colleges, schools and companies in Pakistan. I also conducted corporate training with both government and non-government organizations. In the United Kingdom, for the last 9 years, I have been working as Software Development Trainer, conducting corporate training and training young apprentices to achieve their Level 3 up to Level 5 qualifications - BTEC Extended Diploma in IT and Telecommunications. I also developed my own commercial and professional training in which I have given the apprentices a better understanding of the commercial aspect of software development. For the last few years, I have worked with bright future software limited as Technical Lead Role and assisted apprentices whilst working on their projects. I was responsible for creating a process for providing a bridging gap between apprentice training and the commercial environment. This process was known as Commercial and Professional Training (CPT) and facilitated the apprentices in working on simulated and live projects for internal work and external clients. I managed this process which involved in excess of 80 apprentices to ensure that they were gaining invaluable commercial experience to support their learning journey. Much of the work completed as part of the CPT process enabled learners to achieve outcomes defined by the NVQ framework and helped to assess whether apprentices were deemed as competent in their work.
