Operation of Power Transformers up to 200 MVA, HT and EHT equipment such as Circuit Breakers, Potential Transformers, Current Transformers, Lightning Arresters, Capacitor banks, Isolators, 11kV Indoor panels, etc. • Authorized switching personnel for performing switching operations in 220kV/110kV GIS & AIS Substations.• Authorized personnel for issuing Isolation Certificates and Permits to Work for Transformers (up to 200 MVA) and outgoing EHT (220 kV & 110 kV) and HT (11 kV) feeders.• Supervising the working of various relays such as Directional and Non-Directional Earth Fault/Over current relay, REF relay, Distance relay, Trip Circuit & DC Supply Supervision relay, etc.• Control the power flow as per the direction of the Load Dispatch Center.• Monitoring/Controlling 220/110 kV Substations.• Ensuring completion of all operational activities within the time and cost parameters and effective resource utilization to maximize output. • Conducting failure investigation analysis to identify areas of obstruction/defects and take corrective measures through the application of troubleshooting tools to reduce equipment downtime and maximize equipment availability.• Ability to read and understand Single Line Diagrams (SLD), Schematic drawings, etc. • Monitoring and optimizing available resources; troubleshooting problems in coordination with other departments (Relay/Power Equipment Testing Team) to improve efficiency.• Working Knowledge with SCADA software for Monitoring and Controlling Power station operations.• Maintaining various transmission operation related reports such as Monthly Operational Reviews, Peak load details, Daily Log reports, Maintenance registers, etc.• Minimized plant breakdowns with rigorous Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) to improve overall reliability and safety.• Preparation of shutdown/synchronization plans.• Handle emergency situations, such as breakdowns of Transmission lines or Transformers.
