As an Optical Engineer at Ciena since October 2025, I focus on advancing high-performance optical interconnects and photonic systems following the company’s acquisition of Nubis Communications. My work centers on developing compact, low-power solutions that enable scalable, energy-efficient data-center connectivity for AI-driven applications.Previously, as a System Engineer at Nubis Communications (February–October 2025), I specialized in optical networking and photonic-system optimization, leveraging advanced signal processing and test automation. My contributions included TDECQ measurement refinement, Python-based automated testing, and real-time data visualization, enhancing collaboration with photonic integrated circuit (PIC) design teams. By implementing a proportional control loop, our team improved modulation stability and achieved a ~1.5 dB TDECQ reduction under critical stress conditions.Before joining Nubis, I worked as a Staff Hardware Development Engineer at Infinera, where I contributed to large-scale hardware test automation and the integration of optical-module validation processes, improving manufacturing throughput and ensuring product reliability.
