Science has taken me on a journey from Bangladesh to different corners of Europe, exploring the intricate relationship between the microbiome and the immune system in inflammatory and metabolic disorders. Over the past 9 years, I’ve worked across academia, biotech, and pharma, uncovering how these invisible worlds shape human health. Along the way, I expanded my scientific expertise, collaborated with leading experts, adapted to new cultures, and even acquired Dutch nationality. The Scientist: I’m fascinated by how our immune system cross-talks with the microbiome. My expertise spans preclinical and clinical research, data analysis, and innovative therapeutic approaches. The Consultant: Through strong industry collaborations, I have gained expertise in translating science into real-world applications, bridging research and innovation. The Communicator: Science is only as powerful as how we share it. I’m passionate about translating scientific discoveries into clear, compelling narratives, whether through publications, presentations, workshops, or by serving as a spokesperson.Beyond science, I’m a linguist by circumstance (language #7 loading!), an avid traveler, and a strong advocate for mental health awareness across generations.
