Contracted to work for oil and gas companies as an in-house Surface Landman• Collaborate with the Area of Interest (AOI) team on all surface related development• Plan, coordinate, and execute workload and processes with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and State Land Office (SLO) in New Mexico• Manage third party contractors, surveyors, etc. in routing pipelines, powerlines, flow lines, and water transfer lines• Interpret and enforce lease rights, surface rights, and obligations to ensure compliance• Resolve surface damages with landowners and third-party companies• Accountable for permitting activities associated with the company’s operations (i.e, entrance permits, road bore permits, water usage, and transfer permits)• Document and secure necessary SF-299, Application for Entry, Application for Use Easements, right of ways, and surface use agreements with the BLM andSLO to optimize the development and operation of the Company’s land holdings• Responsible for notifying exploration and production personnel of all upcominglease obligations related to the surface operations• Provide any other surface land support as required
